Vintage Conditions
June, when flowering occurs, was cool and damp; resulting in a naturally low yield. Summer was also cool and wet but Autumn, the crucial time for ripening grapes, was warm and dry with lots of sunshine. Thus the fruit was perfectly ripe for Rosé by early october. While all of our fruit is picked by hand, we went one step further in 2007 and all of the Pinot Noir destined for fermentation with the skins was de-stemmed by hand.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Produced from a blend of Chardonnary and Pinot Noir, the wine's appearance glows with a true pink colouring. The aroma of redcurrants and cherries fill the nose and are intermingled with other complex flavours such as broiche, the result of aging on the lees.
The palate echoes the red fruit flavours and the texture of the bubbles makes this wine highly refreshing. The wine is balanced on the finish with a fresh touch of lime and lingering red fruits.
Available in 6x75cl crates.
